Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up. - Pablo Picasso
When we're creating, when we stop trying to impress, when we relax and let our minds wander, we can bring forth our real voice and great work. Funny how I believe a little discipline actually leads to this state of relaxation that can illicit your true, inner voice. So while the end goal is truth - which we all know children are our truth-tellers - how to get there often takes showing up on a consistent basis so we have a solid foundation of good writing habits from which our ideas can emerge. Just my two cents. Write like the wind! Every day. -CGD

I hear that "burgh" and "borough" is read as "brah" in England. I have yet to meet a British friend who can say it's true but I know Marlboro sounds like Marl-bra when people talk about it. It used to be a female brand. It's a great example of a massive effort of advertising to change a brand image. We all know that it is being represented by a cowboy riding a horse and it is very much masculine if you think about it. Nobody remembers anymore that it used to be a brand for women.

I am moving unbelievably slow lately. I heard from a younger friend who just gave birth to two kids at less than a year interval that there are days when she is also having difficulty breathing. Is there something we can do? They say it's hormonal imbalance. If I have my own way, I will stop eating completely and just juice vegetables. I think one reason for all these chemical imbalance is we are a generation of malnourished men who only eat corn and corn products.
