EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful therapeutic approach that helps the brain do what it’s naturally wired to do: heal. Instead of staying stuck in the emotional imprint of a painful or traumatic memory, EMDR therapy helps you process those experiences so they no longer overwhelm you or shape your life in ways you don’t want. Many people seek EMDR for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, or the lingering impact of experiences they’ve never fully recovered from.

As a trained EMDR therapist, my role is to guide you through this work with steadiness, care, and deep respect for your pace. I offer EMDR in person in Pasadena, and in some cases, EMDR can also be safely provided online to clients in California. Whether EMDR is appropriate for telehealth is something we’ll thoughtfully assess together, based on your specific needs, symptoms, and support systems.

In our work, we gently explore the moments that shaped you — the ones that still feel tender or unresolved — and begin to loosen the hold they have on your mind and body. Over time, EMDR helps clear the internal barriers that keep you from moving forward, opening the door to a life that feels more grounded, free, and fully yours.
