ADULT CHILD ESTRANGEMENT GROUP

The Adult Child Estrangement Group is now forming.

This group is for adults who are estranged from one or both parents—whether the distance was your choice, their choice, or something that developed over time.

This is a therapist-led support group focused on the emotional impact of parental estrangement and complex family loss. Themes include how early family experiences continue to affect you, making sense of how the estrangement came to be, navigating relationships with other family members, and holding the grief, conflict, relief, and uncertainty that often accompany family estrangement. Space will also be made to talk openly about the question of reunification—whether that feels possible, desirable, or not—and about building meaningful connections and a sense of belonging outside of your family of origin.

The group will meet once per week, online, and is open to California residents only.

Being with others who truly understand this experience can lessen isolation and support greater clarity and self-compassion.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for more information and next steps.
